What makes dancing feel like dancing instead of simply doing steps?
Musicality.
Join Mack for a special open-level Musicality class designed to help you hear more in the music—and use what you hear to make your dancing more natural, expressive, and connected.
This class is not tied to one specific dance style. Whether you dance Salsa, Bachata, Cumbia, West Coast Swing, Ballroom, or a little bit of everything, the concepts you'll learn can be applied to the dancing you already do.
We'll explore how to:
• Hear and recognize different elements in the music
• Understand timing, phrasing, breaks, and changes
• Connect your movement more naturally to what you're hearing
• Add expression and personality instead of simply dancing the steps
• Make musical choices that work with your dance style
ALL STYLES. OPEN LEVEL. ALL ARE WELCOME.
You don't need to be an advanced dancer to understand musicality—in fact, learning to really hear the music can change the way you dance at every level.
Come ready to listen, move, experiment, and have fun!

Musicality & Connection with Elvira
Take your Bachata beyond simply learning steps and start feeling the music and connecting with your partner.
In this special Musicality & Connection Class, Elvira will help dancers explore how to listen to the music, recognize its different rhythms and textures, and use those elements to make their Bachata feel more natural, expressive, and connected.
You’ll also work on partner connection—learning how better communication between lead and follow can create smoother, more comfortable, and more enjoyable dancing.
What You'll Work On
• Understanding Bachata rhythm and musicality
• Recognizing changes and accents in the music
• Connecting movement to what you hear
• Improving lead-and-follow communication
• Creating a smoother, more comfortable partner connection
• Adding expression and personality to your dancing
This class is a great opportunity to focus on the feeling behind the dance, not just the patterns.
All levels are welcome and no partner is required.

RhythmAddict is excited to welcome Jo Quiñones for a special 2-hour Open Level Chachacha Workshop on Sunday, September 27.
An accomplished instructor, choreographer, performer, and longtime member of the Southern California Latin dance community, Jo brings years of experience in social and competitive Latin dance along with an energetic, expressive teaching style.
During this workshop, Jo will take dancers beyond simply learning steps and explore the timing, technique, movement, musicality, and unmistakable personality of Chachacha. Expect a fun and engaging class designed to help you become more comfortable with the rhythm while adding greater confidence, expression, and flavor to your dancing.
Open Level — dancers of different experience levels are welcome. Come ready to learn, challenge yourself, and have fun!
